Product description


  • The Transas Navigational simulator Navi-Trainer Professional 5000
    (NTPRO 5000) enables simulator training and certification of watch
    officers, chief officers, captains and pilots serving on commercial and
    fishing ships with the gross tonnage of 500 tons and more.

  • Conventional training:
    - Ship handling training in accordance with STCW’95 requirements
      (Bridge Team Management, ARPA/Radar, ECDIS, AIS, SSAS).

  • Special training:
    - Training in tug and barge handling operations
    - Training in offshore operations and using DP system
    - Ship handling training in ice conditions
    - Training in Search and Rescue operations in accordance with
      IAMSAR manual
    - Training in fishing operations
    - Training for naval applications
    - Vessel traffic management training in accordance with IALA V 103
      standard for the certification and training of VTS personnel
    - Research works for ship modelling, harbour and fairways design.

  • Complies with requirements of IMO STCW 78/95 Convention and
    Model Courses 7.01, 7.03 as well as number of specific tasks
    beyond the Convention.

  • NTPRO 5000 is certified by DNV as Class A simulator with class
    notation ‘Integrated simulator system, NAUT AW (SIM), DYNPOS-
    AUT (SIM), HSC, Tug, Ice’ as per the new edition of the DNV
    standard of Certification Maritime Simulators No.2.14 October 2007.

GMDSS Simulator
TGS 4100
Product description


  • The Transas Radio Communication Simulator TGS 4100 is designed
    for training and examining of ship specialists who receive a General
    Operator Certificate (GOC) or Restricted Operator Certificate (ROC).
    Search and Rescue (SAR) operations and VTS operator training is
    supported as well.

  • Capabilities:
    - Simulation of MF/HF/VHF communication in DSC, Telephony and
      Telex modes and Satellite communication between the workplaces
      (ships), and with coast radio stations for any shipping area.
    - Simulation of maritime safety information transmission via
      SafetyNET, NAVTEX and HF NBDP services.
    - Imitation of radio wave propagation using radio ether model.
    - Conducting SAR operations using the radar for detecting SART.
    - Electronic chart displaying the coast station, GMDSS sea areas,
      SAR areas, plus the capability to make a rough estimate of the
      radio waves propagation in the selected frequency band.
    - Possibility to change from the network operation to the single-user.
    - Recording and playback of radiotelephone communications.

  • Transas GMDSS simulator covers the essential areas of maritime
    training in full compliance with STCW’95 Code and IMO Model
    Course 1.25 and holds type approval certificate from the Department
    of Maritime Transport of Russia. The simulator with hard panel
    equipment is approved by the AMERC for the conduct of GOC
    examinations in place of actual equipment.

Engine Room Simulator

  • The Transas Engine Room Simulator has been developed for the
    education, training and assessment of engine department personnel,
    including officers in charge of watch, second and chief engineers.

  • The high level of physical and behavioral realism of ERS 4000
    creates a professional environment for the following types of marine
    engineering training:
    - familiarisation and education,
    - standard operation and watch keeping,
    - advanced operation and troubleshooting

  • The Engine Room Simulator is available in three modifications:

    - ERS 4000 Solo - single-PC desktop system.
      Designed for self-education, equipment familiarisation and
      knowledge refresher training. Off-line instructor functions include
      exercise editor and debriefing.

    - ERS 4000 Network - PC-based simulator class.
      Designed for individual, group and team training. Instructor control
      and monitoring. Up to 12 interactive trainee workstations.

    - ERS 4000 Full Mission - ship-like Engine Control Room consoles.
      Designed for professional hands-on simulator training in ship-like
      operational environment. Ship-like consoles with built-in monitoring
      and control panels. Full interaction between simulator software and
      hardware. Any combination of ERS 4000 Network and Full Mission
      workstations.

  • Complies with the requirements of the STCW’95 Convention and
    Code. The simulator’s scope of training objectives corresponds to
    the specifications of standard competence for engine department
    personnel as per Chapter III of STCW’95, IMO Model Courses 2.07,
    2.08; 7.02; 7.04; and facilitates marine engineering training at the
    operational, management and support levels. ERS 4000 is certified
    by Det Norske Veritas as Class A Simulator.

Liquid Cargo Handling Simulator

  • The Transas Liquid Cargo Handling Simulator provide both standard
    and specialized training of all cargo handling operations on board
    of the following types of vessels:

    - Large Crude Oil Carrier (LCC)
    - Very Large Crude Carrier (VLCC)
    - Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Carrier
    - Chemical tanker (CHT)
    - Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Carrier (both spherical & membrane)
    - Float Production Storage & Offloading System (FPSO)

  • The simulator is aimed at studying the tanker systems in the framework of standard IMO courses:
    - IMO 2.06 "Oil Tanker Cargo and Ballast Handling Simulator"
    - IMO 1.01 "Tanker Familiarization"
    - IMO 1.02 "Specialized training for oil tankers"
    - IMO 1.04 "Specialized Training for Chemical Tankers"
    - IMO 1.06 "Specialized Training for Liquefied Gas Tankers"

  • Intended for the training and assessment of personnel who are
    responsible for the handling of liquid cargoes aboard ships,
    pursuant to the requirements of the revised STCW'95, MARPOL
    73/78, IMO, ICS and other Conventions and Regulations.

Potential Incident Simulation, Control
and Evaluation System - PISCES2
Product description


  • The Transas Potential Incident Simulation, Control and Evaluation
    System (PISCES2) is an incident response simulator intended for
    preparing and conducting command centre exercises and area drills.

  • PISCES2 immerses the exercise participants in a comprehensive
    information environment, based on the mathematical modelling of an
    oil spill and its interaction with geographic constraints, environmental
    forces, and combat resources.

  • PISCES2 can be operated as a single-user application suitable
    for desktop exercises and training corporate response managers. If
    configured as a multi-user system of several workstations connected
    via a Local Area Network, PISCES2 can support a training class
    comprising a Primary Instructor workplace and multiple additional
    workstations.

  • Complies with the requirements of Oil Pollution Act of 1990 (OPA 90), USCG National Preparedness for Response Exercise Program, International Convention on Oil Pollution Preparedness, Response
    and Co-operation (1990), and IMO course “On scene commander.

Refrigeration Plant Simulator - RPS Product description

 


  • The Transas Refrigeration Plant Simulator (RPS) includes several most widespread types of refrigeration plants used in fishing, food processing and transportation. They are:

    - Automatic refrigerating plant of provision storerooms(Freon for
      refrigerant)
    - Automatic refrigerating plant of the air conditioning system Freon
      for refrigerant)
    - Refrigerating plant of freezing units plate and belt types) (ammonia
      for refrigerant)
    - Brine refrigerating plant and refrigerating plant of an ice-making
      factory (ammonia for refrigerant)
    - Industrial ammonia refrigerating plant (cold storage facility)

  • The Refrigerating Plants Simulator System enables:
