The SAILOR SART II is a 9 GHz X-band Radar Transponder designed
for assisting in ship or survival craft rescue operations in accordance
with GMDSS requirements.
When a radar signal is received from a ship or survival craft, the
SART automatically transmits a response signal, which clearly
identifies the survival craft on the radar screen by means of 12
in-line dots. Once activated, the SART will remain in standby mode
for over 96 hours.
Waterproof to 10mtrs.
Mounting options: internal/external.
Fully GMDSS Compliant.

The JOTRON Tron SART20 is a MED approved GMDSS Radar Transponder.

The Tron SART20 is designed for use in search and rescue (SAR)
operations. A radar transponder gives the location for any nearby
vessel and aircraft with X-band radar.

Designed for use in lifeboats and liferafts.
Easy mounting in bulkhead bracket onboard the vessel, easy to release and activate in an emergency situation. Various installation devices available as options.

The JOTRON Tron SART-AIS is designed for use in search and
rescue operations and gives the exact location of the distressed
indicated on the AIS display of any nearby ships, SAR vessels and
aircrafts.

Proved performance:
- Up to 10 nm from a SOLAS ship with AIS class A transponder
- Up to 40 nm from a SAR helicopter (altitude 1000 ft)
- Up to 130 nm from a SAR aircraft (altitude 20000 ft)

Unique AIS technology contribute to a more effective and less time
consuming SAR operation, due to superior position accuracy.

The AIS-SART is detected on both AIS Class "A" and "B"
Receivers.
